Join us for a special session of Christmas calligraphy on handcrafted wooden baubles on Saturday, 29th November from 1.30 to 3 pm. This class is suitable for beginners and will be held in our warm and beautifully decorated studio, complete with a log-burning stove for a festive and welcoming atmosphere in a charming village setting. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to create your own unique holiday decorations!

Hand Build Slab Vases Pottery Workshop
Inspired by the Great Pottery Throwdown? Here’s your chance to exercise your creativity and get your hands dirty!
Join us for two 3-hour sessions on Friday afternoons from 1-4 pm on 9th and 16th January 2026.
Workshop Details:
- Week 1: Learn to build a contemporary style vase using the slab method and design your glaze pattern or image.
- Week 2: Add your unique glaze design after your piece has been bisque fired. You’ll also learn about dip glazing and dry footing, with an introduction to our kiln, Dorothy.
Our studio is located in a beautifully old building steeped in history, positioned on the edge of a churchyard in a rural village setting. We also have a coffee house, and included in the sessions is a very tasty coffee or tea and biscuits.
Cost: £135.00 per person (all materials and refreshments included)

Weekly Club – Term Time Only with Kris Gibbons
Be part of something special—a club just for those who love tinkering with brush pen calligraphy. Get guided, expert tuition along the way with Kris Gibbons, calligraphy artist. Work on your own projects and get assistance when needed. This is a truly worthwhile way to spend your time, and spaces are limited!
When: Thursdays, 9.30 am to 11.30 am starting from 8th January 2026.

Coffee house and Studio Christmas opening times
If you’re at a loose end this festive season, we are now open 7 days a week! We have lots for the children to do and dogs are also welcome. We serve a range of seasonal drinks including our magnificant candy cane hot chocolate.
Over the Christmas break we will be open
Monday 22nd – Coffee House open with limited seating 9am to 4pm (Polar Express Holiday Club running 9.30am – 3.30pm alongside)
Tuesday 23rd Coffee House open 9am – 4pm
Wednesday 24th – Coffee House open 9am – 12pm
